Turns out yesterday wasn't my last day. Though there was never an official decision about my work finish day, UPC told me to keep showing up until I'm told not to. So, it's back to work on Monday! Finally watched The Hurt Locker and Bright Star yesterday. Loved Hurt Locker. Feel so-so about Bright Star. I'm taking an Oscar movie break after these two, with the next two movies coming from Netflix being Zombieland and Shock Corridor the latter of which is a 1960s mental hospital film.

One of the categories of films Netflix put on my homepage, based apparently on my preferences is, "Violent Foreign Revenge Movies." I find this amusing. They also included "Critically acclaimed mind-bending thrillers" and "Suspenseful dramas featuring a strong female lead."

Interesting, Netflix. Very interesting.

I do have phone-a-phobia. This is a well documented fact. After working on the last film, the sound of my ring tone freaked me out so much, I had to buy a new one because every time my phone would start ring I'd go, "Crap! What did I forget to do? What am I going to have to do? Did I screw something up?"

That's right. The Academy Awards are tonight with the glorious Hugh Jackman hosting. Go Hugh! Make it good. I've managed to see all five of the Best Picture nominees, and most of the films with nominated performances, Doubt being the main one that I've missed.
